Play, Print, Share… make your own printing stamp, see a live demonstration and create your own art cards.
This class will inspire your Holiday Season… Leave with handmade, personalized, printed Holiday cards to send your friends and family. They might even keep and enjoy your handmade cards again for years. (Ecards ‘and blogs’ evaporate!)

Class Fee: $45.00 Materials Fee (collected at class): $10.00 – specialty stocks, cut to size, scored for folding and envelopes, inks, and all tools provided.

Instructor Bio: Louise Anne (L. A.) Marler is a graphic designer and photographer, specializing in contemporary vintage imaging. She is a consultant, instructor and founder of a creative company… Designing and producing fine art prints as well as greeting card, t-shirt and novelty lines of products, which can be found in galleries and fine stores. A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and 20 years of work experience in Santa Monica, with continuing education in an array of print specialties, Louise is able to work on her commission printing projects, photographs, installations, and merchandise with an unfettered and inscrutable artistic sensibility. She also uses her own inventive techniques and cleaner methods, to print ecologically.

Art Schon Fund Raiser for Asthma & Allergy Foundation
Friday, August 12 – 5:30 to 9 pm
I will be there and showing works of art at a Benefit for Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, St. Louis Chapter, a cause that is personal to me, having family members suffering from breathing issues. Fine art available for purchase includes: New AlphaBits, TypoWriters, Artisan Pendants and more! Cost for the event is a suggested $10 donation. Food and wine will be served. The Friday evening show will be 5:30 to 9 pm at the Schon on the Boulevard, located at #30 The Boulevard in Clayton, Mo.

After waiting 2 years, the chic, Seventeenth Street Cafe (which is actually on Montana Avenue) is full of L. A. Marler graphics and photos.
