Photographs were taken from the Venice pier to northern Santa Monica. On various days in late October, Marler captured natural colors and landscapes.

The graphic angel was originally carved from styrofoam, inked and stamped. The black borders are hand-drawn and used here as unique frames for the other eretheral elements. Both the slides and ink on paper were scanned to create digital collages.
