Ancient ceremonial messages are transformed into contemporary art. Initially a photo of classic red, and spiked yellow with red stripe tulips, the emulsion transfers were hand applied to traditional Chinese ceremonial papers of the same colors. The blending of the two layers created an abstract, contemporary intrepretation of the ancient messages and a sort of poetic optical illusion. Chinese translations add graphics and colorful variations create joy.

The neon-mosaic illustration of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Infinite Compassion, shows her fluid and peacefully cheerful surrounded by darkness. Another unique piece here is the multi-color Peace & Harmony.
